Here's a wall hanging collage made with a bunch of compelling items. "The Nature of Things" depicts the natural, the industrial, and the virtual worlds. An antique wooden grill from an old Victor Victrola record player creates the framework, inside of which are an assortment of book plates and diagrams. The central space features a wooden foundry pattern, or "halo", that radiates around a computer circuit board. Called a probe card, these are used to interface with, test, and validate integrated circuits (or chips) before use. The thing itself is a work of art.
