"Day of the Dove" is the name of a 1960s Star Trek episode. I wouldn't call myself a trekkie, but I do love the Original Series. Anyway, the sliced piece of driftwood seen at the top of this wall hanging ended up looking just like the floating alien from the show. So, in keeping with the interstellar vibe, I added black hexagonal Lamborghini wallpaper (it's a real thing, Google it) to depict the void of space and another piece of driftwood as the barren wasteland of an alien planet. Both elements spill out and over the maple wood frame, creating an enhanced three-dimensional effect. You will like it.
