When I started MiglioDesign, my first inclination was to use wooden foundry patterns as a primary focus. While I still dabble in them I've moved onto other ideas and materials. That being said, this wall sculpture is an example of taking these interesting objects and creating something that gels. I have a stockpile of foundry patterns, and the goal is to try and use them in a timely manner. Otherwise, they get boxed up and ultimately forgotten. This piece makes me smile.
