Accent Lights

Decorative Accent Lights for Tables or Shelves

When you need to add illumination to a dark corner, bookshelf, or hallway table, standard lamps can come up short. A little variety can go a long way, so why not let the accent lights at MiglioDesign provide the visual interest needed to transform your space? These unusual lights are like no other. Most feature cloth-covered lamp cord, plugs, and bulbs. All pieces come together to offer vintage decor with a warm glow.

To create an accent light intended for ambient decoration, the focus should be clear and concise. Some of the modern designs exhibited here harken back to the mid-century modern era, a favorite of mine.

Then there’s the shoe lights. The wooden shoe form, called a “last”, after the Old English word for “footprint”, was the molds cobblers used to build a shoe's basic shape. Lasts were made for shoes of every style and foot size, for men and women. You can probably imagine the millions of forms that were made over the years. They certainly exude a sense of decoration, but what to do with them? Turning shoe lasts into accent lights only happens at MiglioDesign.
